Day 1 December 4 - Depart the USA

Your exciting trip begins as you depart the United States on your international flight to England.

Day 2 December 5 - Arrive in Manchester

Upon arrival in the vibrant city of Manchester, you'll be greeted by your EO representative. If time permits, enjoy time exploring the city. As the sun sets, you will experience the festive spirit by strolling through the enchanting Christmas market, adorned with twinkling lights and offering an array of artisanal crafts, delectable treats, and seasonal delights. Check into your hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Manchester. (D)

Day 3 December 6 - York / Manchester.

This morning we will visit the old walled city of York with its ancient walls and history dating back 2000 years.  We will see York Minster, the second largest Gothic cathedral in northern Europe.  Enjoy a visit to York's incredible market. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight. (B)

Day 4 December 7 - Manchester / Stratford-upon-Avon / Cotswolds

Departing from Manchester, travel to the historic town of Stratford-upon-Avon, renowned as the birthplace of William Shakespeare. Upon arrival, immerse yourself in the timeless charm of this quintessential English town, where the legacy of the world's greatest playwright comes to life. Today's visits will begin at Anne Hathaway's Cottage. Travel into town to visit Shakespeare's Birthplace, a beautifully preserved timber-framed house where the Bard spent his childhood years. Enjoy free time for a leisurely lunch and stroll in the charming villages of the Cotswolds. Dinner and overnight will be in Swindon tonight. (B, D)

Day 5 December 8 - Bristol / Bath

In the ancient port city of Bristol, you’ll have a lecture in one of Wesley’s early centers of ministry, the “New Room”. This oldest Methodist building in the world is unusually attractive in its basic simplicity. Then visit the home of Charles Wesley, the famous hymn writer. Drive for a stop at the Port of Pill, where Francis Asbury and Thomas Coke sailed to America from.  Travel to Bath, a spa town of Roman origin, deserves its name. Since the first century, the warm waters have refreshed and healed. You’ll see the unique Roman baths and enjoy this beautiful Christmas Market. Return back to your hotel for dinner and overnight. Day 6 December 9 - Oxford / Blenheim

Travel to the charming city of Oxford. Visit Christ Church College at Oxford University and enjoy a walking tour of the city. After time on own for lunch, you will travel to Blenheim Palace to enjoy the charming Christmas lights. Overnight in Oxford. (B, D)

Day 7 December 10 - Wesley's London

John Wesley left his mark on the town of London. You’ll have a lecture at City Road Chapel, the site of Wesley’s home and grave. Across the street in Bunhill Fields Cemetery, Susanna Wesley is buried along with other famous personages such as John Bunyan and Daniel Defoe. You’ll walk on Aldersgate Street, where on May 24, 1738, John Wesley had his “Warming of the Heart” experience. You’ll walk past the entrance of “Little Britain,” where Charles Wesley had his conversion experience just three days earlier. Drive by the major city sites such as Marble Arch, Speakers Corner of Hyde Park, Trafalgar Square and much more. Your first view will be of Westminster Abbey, where royalty is christened, married and buried. You will visit St. Paul’s Cathedral, where John Wesley often worshiped. On the day of his conversion, Wesley came here for an afternoon service and was deeply moved by the choir’s anthem, “Out of the Deep Have I Called Unto Thee, O Lord”. Dinner is on your own in London. December 13 - Flight to Edinburgh
Travel to Edinburgh by air and then transfer to the bus for a panoramic drive through the city and then check into your hotel for your overnight stay. (B)

December 14 - Edinburgh
This morning, you will begin to explore the city that has played an important part in our Christian heritage. Tour Edinburgh Castle, where James VI, who authorized the King James Bible, was born. Visit St. Giles Cathedral, the High Kirk (church) of Edinburgh, where John Knox was minister following the Scottish Reformation. Continue down Princes Street to the Sir Walter Scott Monument. Your overnight stay is in Edinburgh. (B)

December 15 - Dunfermline Abbey, St. Andrews Cathedral & Castle
Cross the Firth of Forth to Fife. Stop at Dunfermline Abbey, where St. Margaret and Robert the Bruce are buried. Continue past picturesque fishing villages to St. Andrews, the ancient ecclesiastical capital of Scotland. Visit the ruins of St. Andrews Cathedral and the nearby castle with its notorious “Bottle Dungeon”. Here, John Knox and other reformers were held prisoner. Take a look at the “Old Course” at St. Andrews, renowned as the home of golf! Return to Edinburgh for your overnight stay. (B)
